Job Description & How to Apply Below

#ABtalks
, is one of the most-watched interview shows in the Arab world and a globally recognized platform for honest, unfiltered conversation. From world‑class athletes and CEOs to artists, activists, and cultural icons, each episode goes beyond the surface — diving into the human stories, vulnerabilities, and defining moments that shape extraordinary people.

With tens of millions of views across You Tube, Instagram, and Tik Tok, and a loyal audience that spans the globe, #ABtalks has grown from a passion project into a cultural force. Every episode we produce is crafted with intention — from the questions asked to the way the story is told in edit.

The Opportunity

This is a 3-month unpaid internship designed to give emerging creatives real‑world experience on a high‑profile production. If you’re looking for an internship where your work will actually be seen — and felt — this is it.

Are you passionate about social media, storytelling, and digital content? This internship is your chance to get real, hands‑on experience supporting one of the region’s leading digital shows — learning how a high‑performing social media operation runs from the inside.

As a Social Media Intern, you’ll work closely with the Social Media Manager and Executive on the day‑to‑day execution of #ABtalks’ platforms. From supporting episode releases and daily content publishing, to drafting captions, selecting music for clips, and helping with reporting — you’ll be involved at every stage and guided every step of the way.

This is a role built for someone who wants to grow into a full Social Media Executive and is ready to learn by doing.

What You’ll Be Learning & Doing
1. Episode Release Support
  • Shadow and assist the Social Media Manager and Executive through full episode release workflows across all platforms
  • Support the uploading and publishing of episodes on You Tube, including helping prepare supporting assets such as trailers, guest intros, clips, and carousels
  • Learn to write and optimize You Tube descriptions, captions, SEO titles, tags, and timestamps under close supervision
  • Assist in coordinating with editors and the design team to ensure release assets are ready and aligned with the episode schedule
  • Support the preparation and sending of the weekly release newsletter and media emails
2. Content Posting & Publishing
  • Assist with the daily posting and scheduling of content across Instagram, Tik Tok, You Tube, Linked In, Facebook, Threads, X, Snapchat, and Spotify
  • Learn how to manage high‑volume content output across multiple platforms simultaneously
  • Support with selecting music and sounds for short‑form clips on Reels and Tik Tok
  • Develop an understanding of how captions, visuals, hashtags, and formatting are tailored per platform
  • Build consistency in brand tone, visuals, and posting cadence across all channels
  • Assist in writing captions and short‑form copy for social media content and episode releases
  • Contribute to You Tube episode descriptions, newsletter drafts, and Linked In copy under guidance
  • Learn how to adapt tone across platforms — thoughtful and human on Linked In, engaging and conversational on Instagram, punchy and trend‑driven on Tik Tok
4. Reporting & Analytics Support
  • Assist in preparing weekly internal media reports by pulling data and consolidating insights from all platforms
  • Help track performance of episode releases and learn how to benchmark content against channel standards
  • Support the Social Media Executive in compiling sponsor and client reports when needed
  • Help monitor audience interactions and flag trends, feedback, or notable moments to the Social Media Manager.
Who We’re Looking For
  • A current student or recent graduate in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field
  • Genuinely passionate about social media, content creation, and digital storytelling
  • Detail‑oriented, organized, and comfortable juggling multiple tasks at once
  • A strong team player who takes initiative and follows through
  • Adaptable and comfortable in a fast‑paced, creative environment
  • Trustworthy, professional, and eager to learn
  • Fluent in English and Arabic — both written and spoken — is a must
