About Hamdan Bin Mohammed Heritage Center
HHC was established on 6th of April, 2013 under the decree issued by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai. It was a day that marked a paradigm shift, not only in the procession of Emirati heritage but also in the common heritage of humanity. From the Center’s name, it is clear that the tasks outshine traditional gathering and inscription of heritage to reviving it anew.
To make it, yet again, a living being in the lives of nationals who remain, above all, extremely proud of their identity as Emiratis. Minutes following its birth, HHC, began implementing its pre-set strategy, of raising the level of awareness around UAE’s genuine heritage nationally, regionally and internationally.
The position is responsible for creating and achieving the desired visual impact for filmed scenes by editing, cutting and reassembling footage in a sequential manner that aligns with the film's storyline. The role also involves adding music tracks, incorporating and synchronizing audio, and compositing two scenes into a single frame.
Duties & Responsibilities- Producing and assembling recorded footage using established technical and artistic methods, and re-editing it in a way that reflects the quality of the production.
- Incorporating sound effects and music that are appropriate to the scenes and situations, ensuring that the content is conveyed to viewers in the clearest and most engaging manner possible.
- Monitoring the visual continuity between shots and managing transitions from one scene to another in a manner that captivates and engages viewers, while ensuring full alignment with the content and purpose of the footage.
- Archiving and storing all final production in accordance with established media archiving systems and file management procedures, ensuring easy retrieval when needed.
- Providing support and collaborating with photography team.
- Performing any other duties related to the work of the office, or as assigned by management.
- Bachelor's degree in Television Arts.
- Apple Certification (Cut Pro).
- International Computer Driving Licence (ICDL).
- 3 years of experience in the relevant field.
