Accountant, Financial Reporting, Financial Analyst

Overview

The Accountant is responsible for managing the company’s financial records using Quick Books and Microsoft Excel
, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance with UAE regulations, and supporting day-to-day finance operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proficient in bookkeeping and financial analysis.

1. Financial Recording & Bookkeeping

• Record daily transactions in Quick Books

• Reconcile bank statements and ledgers.
• Process invoices, payments, and receipts.
• Maintain accurate records of all financial activities.

2. Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Use Excel to create financial models, summaries, and custom reports.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting.

3. VAT & Compliance

• Prepare and file VAT returns in accordance with UAE laws.
• Maintain compliance with FTA guidelines and other financial regulations.
• Support audit preparation and liaise with external auditors when needed.

4. Accounts Payable & Receivable

• Track receivables and follow up on overdue accounts.
• Process supplier payments and maintain payment schedules.

5. Support & Coordination

• Assist with payroll entries and employee reimbursement records.
• Coordinate with management and external stakeholders on financial matters.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the UAE.
• Strong hands-on experience with Quick Books and Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
• Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and financial compliance standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.
