Senior Accountant – MNC

Reporting to the COO of Middle East and Asia and to the Group Financial Controller who is based in London, you will be responsible for the preparation and management of the accounting for the entities within the Business Unit and the maintenance of the accounting system for the entities in Dubai, Singapore, Hong Kong & Beijing.

• Systems & Procedures: deal with project managers to update status of their project
• Assisting with the implementation of a new finance system
• Managing accounting function/transactions for the Dubai and Singapore entities
• Cash management: processing of suppliers’ invoices payment; preparation of weekly cash flows reports for the managing director and weekly cash flow forecasts for the HQs; bank reconciliations and petty cash; communication and follow‑up with local banks to solve daily problems related to banking
• Managing all Intercompany transactions and reconciliations
• General Ledger: reconciliation and analysis of accounts with particular attention to the revenue, provisions, accruals and intercompany accounts
• Monthly preparation of cut‑off for Dubai and Singapore entity
• Externalized finance services of the entities in the region: prepare all the documentation and data to be sent to the accounting companies for externalized accounting, tax and financial services within the region (incl. Singapore, Hong Kong and Beijing) for the preparation of the monthly financial statements and liaise with the third parties to establish the declarations, finance and tax documents as required
• Monthly preparation of the financials for management reporting purpose for the entities within the Business Unit. incl. Trial Balances on a monthly basis and P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement in a Consolidation pack on a quarterly basis
• Year End Closing: manage all the tasks related to t

• Western Educated Partly‑Qualified Accountant as a minimum
• Substantial experience working under Western Management
• Previous experience closing month/year end for multiple entities
• Ability to work autonomously and being accountable for the results
• Excellent communication skills
