- Develop strategies for revenue generation and business development, set business objectives and goals, and drive the Digital Agenda.
- Meet country CPBB objectives, provide customer‑focused need‑based selling of banking products, deepen customer relationships and maximize penetration.
- Achieve sales and non‑sales targets, meet new customers in the market and convince them based on their financial needs, assist in implementing promotions and below‑the‑line activities for acquiring new customers, and derive insights from competitor sales activities to effectively counter their efforts.
- Ensure adherence to all internal and external regulations, embed operational risk monitoring, and carry out the assigned role under Compliance Risk Management and Operational Risk Management Assurance.
- Build a transparent and collaborative culture with incentives tied to performance metrics aligned with the Bank’s values.
- Conduct CDD, MLP and TCF diligently, maintain zero tolerance on fraud and mis‑selling, support reviews (Group Internal Audit, Shariah Reviews, Regulatory reviews, etc.), attend required training programs, and comply with all relevant policies, guidelines and local regulatory requirements.
- Promote an environment where compliance with internal control functions and the external regulatory framework is a central priority.
- Display exemplary conduct, live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct, lead the Mortgages business to achieve the conduct principles, and collaboratively identify, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
- Maintain a highly professional environment in the Priority Centre and educate clients on other delivery channels.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Sales.
- Preference for Banking and Finance background.
- Proven track record in delivering sales targets.
- Ability to work in and coordinate efforts across functions and multiple products.
- Influencing and persuasion skills.
- Strong presentation and networking skills.
- Experience handling all Banking & Mortgage Products.
- Demonstrated ability in sales planning.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence outcomes.
- Networking ability to manage inter‑departmental deliverables.
- Strong interpersonal skills and leadership ability.
- Good understanding of the business environment in UAE preferred.
- Computer literacy at the user level.
- Adaptability to a multi‑cultural environment.
