Commercial Analyst

• Build relationships with Citi network and operational teams, becoming one key contact for client requests, internal requests, escalation, and resolution.
• Support Senior Relationship Managers in managing the assigned portfolio of clients.
• Work closely with Senior Relationship Managers to ensure a Client First approach and deliver outstanding day‑to‑day banking and operational support to our Mid‑Market clients.
• Assist with preparation of proposals, diligence, credit application write‑ups, financial spreading, deal structuring, return calculations, documentation reviews, and preparation.
• Manage and monitor product implementation processes and client onboarding and sales via customer relationship management platform.
• Analyze client relationships, assess risk and opportunity, and support solutioning assessment and pitch book preparation.
• Collaborate with key internal stakeholders across Commercial Banking and share best practices to deliver best‑in‑class relationship management.
• Appropriately assess risk and safeguard Citigroup’s reputation and assets by driving compliance with laws, rules, regulations, and policy, and by applying sound ethical judgment and managing control issues with transparency.

• 2‑5 years’ experience in banking, preferably commercial/corporate banking.
• Prior client‑relationship or client‑facing role.
• Strong sales, presentation, and communication skills and focus on first‑class service quality.
• Analytical and credit skills, problem‑solving ability, and high level of self‑motivation.
• Knowledge of general banking processes and commercial banking solutions, including transactional banking, FX, trade, treasury, working capital, and lending.
• Proficiency with Microsoft and customer relationship management applications.
• Effective collaboration with Senior Relationship Managers and Commercial Banking partners.

Bachelor’s university degree or equivalent experience.
