Key Job Responsibilities
- Recommend improvements to departmental policy and support in the implementation of procedures and controls.
- Support the month‑end cycle including posting accruals and preparing monthly financial reports.
- Maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries, general ledger, and account reconciliations.
- Record transactions in ERP.
- Process payments: vendor payments, government payments, insurance and other business‑related payments, office rent, utilities, etc.
- Ensure daily tasks are conducted in an organized manner.
- Prepare supplier account reconciliation on a regular basis.
- Prepare reconciliation between divisions and identify variances.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure timely recording of transactions.
- Identify and accurately record payments subject to Value Added Tax (VAT) and Withholding tax.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and addressing audit findings.
- Maintain and update insurance‑related records and provide necessary information as requested.
- Prepare financial reports and ad‑hoc analysis as requested.
- Contribute to implementation and optimization of financial systems and software including ERP.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Perform other job‑related projects or assignments as requested by direct supervisor/manager.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of ZATCA Rules & Regulations, GAAP and IFRS.
- Experience with Oracle/ERP and strong analytical skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong cross‑functional working relationships.
- Attention to detail.
