Role Overview
Trading Controls & Integrity (TCI) protects the fairness and integrity of the firm’s trading environment. The team investigates unusual trading behaviour, incentive misuse, and potential exploitation of platform rules or commercial programs. TCI is an independent control function. It does not trade, manage risk, or design pricing. Its role is to analyse behaviour, investigate cases, and elevate issues when trading activity undermines commercial fairness or governance standards.
We are seeking analytically curious individuals who enjoy analysing trading behaviour and identifying meaningful patterns across accounts, incentives, and trading activity.
- Analyse trading activity to identify patterns of abusive or exploitative behaviour
- Detect structural exploitation involving trading mechanics, incentives, or platform protections
- Monitor for coordinated activity across related accounts, IB structures, or trading groups
- Conduct detailed investigations into suspicious trading activity, including:
- Trade reconstruction
- Behavioural pattern analysis
- Timeline and account relationship mapping
- Produce clear, evidence-based investigation reports suitable for internal governance and audit review
- Monitor incentive programs, IB rebates, and promotions to detect abuse or manipulation
- Identify economic leakage arising from misaligned incentive structures
- Analyse trading disputes related to execution fairness, incentives, or commercial treatment
- Provide objective, data-driven assessments of disputed trading outcomes
- Escalate confirmed integrity breaches or structural vulnerabilities to relevant teams, including:
- Maintain structured case documentation and investigation logs
- Track emerging behavioural trends that may indicate new exploitation strategies
- Contribute to the development of monitoring frameworks and detection approaches
- Rebate and incentive gaming
- Coordinated trading across related accounts
- Exploitation of Negative Balance Protection
- Trading clustered around rollover or gap-risk windows
- Structural exploitation of trading policies or platform mechanics
- Behaviour designed to create asymmetric risk outcomes
These investigations focus on commercial fairness and integrity, not trading profitability.
