Senior Project Accountant

We are looking to hire a Senior Project Accountant to assist with the day‑to‑day financial operations of the organization. The role involves managing accounting processes, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, supporting budgeting and reporting activities, and delivering accurate financial insights to support business decision‑making for one of the largest Hospitality Groups in the world.

This position is a contract role with an initial duration of 6 months and is renewable based on performance and business requirements.

• Managing day‑to‑day financial operations and accounting activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month‑end closing.
• Prepare and review financial reports and schedules to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Preparing financial forecasting and variance analysis to compare budgeted versus actual costs, identify variances, and generate management insights.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable processes and support cash flow management.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure proper documentation of financial transactions.
• Support payroll processing and employee‑related financial reconciliations.
• Budgeting & Financial Analysis – assist in preparing annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Analyze financial data and provide actionable insights to support strategic and operational decisions.
• Monitor departmental spending and ensure alignment with approved budgets as well as supporting cost‑control initiatives and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Compliance & Controls – Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely statutory reporting & assist in VAT, tax filings, and other regulatory submissions.
• Banking & Reporting – manage banking transactions, reconciliations, and related documentation.
• Prepare management reports, financial statements, and supporting schedules.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support financial planning and reporting activities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA is preferred.
• Proven experience in accounting and financial operations.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Preference will be given to candidates who are immediately available.
