Role Purpose
The Senior Manager – Finance will be responsible for driving financial operations, ensuring compliance, and supporting business growth initiatives at RNS Technology. This role requires a strong balance of hands‑on execution, financial control, and business partnering to enable effective decision‑making. This role also requires a highly organized and commercially aware professional capable of driving execution across departments, ensuring operational discipline, supporting leadership decision‑making, and coordinating complex day‑to‑day business activities in a fast‑paced technology environment.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Operations Control
- Oversee end‑to‑end accounting and finance operations across RNS entities.
- Ensure accuracy in financial statements, reporting, and consolidations.
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closures in a timely manner.
- Monitor receivables, payables, and cash flow cycles to ensure healthy working capital.
- Budgeting, Forecasting & MIS
- Support preparation and tracking of annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
- Develop and manage MIS reports and dashboards for leadership.
- Provide insights on variance analysis and cost optimization opportunities.
- Compliance Governance
- Ensure adherence to all statutory and regulatory requirements: VAT, Corporate Tax, Transfer Pricing, UBO.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and legal advisors.
- Business Partnering
- Work closely with business teams to track project profitability and performance.
- Improve financial discipline across functions.
- Support decision‑making with data‑driven financial insights.
- Operational Analytics & Resource Efficiency
- Monitor operational productivity, resource allocation, and utilization across teams.
- Analyze engineer working hours, idle time, billability, deployment efficiency, and project allocation trends.
- Work with project managers and department heads to improve operational productivity and resource planning.
- Develop operational dashboards, utilization reports, and business performance metrics.
- Provide management with actionable operational insights for strategic decision‑making.
- Support leadership in resolving operational inefficiencies and cross‑functional issues.
- Ensure smooth coordination between technical, sales, finance, procurement, legal, HR, and support functions.
- Ensure timely closure of operational and commercial tasks.
- Commercial Contracts & Legal Coordination
- Review and coordinate commercial agreements, customer contracts, vendor agreements, NDAs, partnership agreements, and procurement documentation with support of our Legal counsel.
- Work closely with external legal counsel on contract review, negotiations, and risk assessment wherever needed.
- Provide commercial and operational inputs on legal agreements before management approval.
- Evaluate commercial exposure, operational feasibility, payment terms, liabilities, service obligations, penalties, and execution risks within contracts.
- Ensure contract execution aligns with business objectives and operational capabilities.
- Strategic Support for Expansion
- Assist in new entity setup, branch expansion, and financial structuring.
- Support CFO in M&A analysis, due diligence, and integration activities.
- Contribute to fund‑raising preparation and financial modelling.
- Vendor & Customer Management
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors, customers, and distributors.
- Monitor and improve collections and payment cycles.
- Team Management
- Lead and mentor the finance, operations and accounts team.
- Ensure adherence to processes, controls, and timelines.
- Build a culture of accuracy, accountability, responsiveness, and operational excellence.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across business functions.
Skills & Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred.
- 10+ years of post‑qualification relevant experience in finance and accounting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Experience in MIS, budgeting, and financial analysis.
- Working knowledge of MENA compliance landscape (VAT, Corporate Tax, etc.).
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving ability.
