Accounting & Treasury Manager

We are currently seeking a Accounting & Treasury Manager who will be based in our Dubai office to oversee complete operations of the accounting department, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all financial matters.

The candidate advises executives, and uses the decision-making tools needed for strategic management, working in close collaboration with the administration team and the accounting Dpt in headquarter.

• issue and/or update the company Budget
• proceed with monthly payroll (WPS knowledge)
• manage staff expenses
• interact regularly with the company bank
• manage day to day operations of the accounts department (data entries and control)
• maintain spreadsheets for monitoring and analysing accounting data and prepare financial reports (Balance Sheet and Income Statement)
• manage accounts payable (bill payments, petty cash etc.) and receivable through cash / cheque / bank transfer
• manage accounts receivable (client activation, sales invoices, and payments)
• maintain and reconcile cash / financial accounts
• manage fixed asset ledger, ensuring accurate capitalization and depreciation
• manage VAT return and refund submission
• manage ESR submission
• manage cash flow forecasting
• manage revenue and expenditure variance analysis
• manage month and end-year closing
• oversees the completion of the ledger accounts
• support and coordinate annual audits with assigned auditor and provide recommendations to improve procedures and systems
• maintain proper and regular communication with Accounting Dpt. in Headquarter
• maintain trust and protect operations by keeping financial information confidential

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as chief accountant in UAE
• Master Degree or equivalent in accounting
• Relevant and verifiable previous experience in an international company based in UAE
