Financial Planning Analyst

Job Purpose

The Financial Planning Analyst will be based in Dubai and report directly to the FP&A Manager, AME. The role supports financial planning and analysis across the Middle East and Africa region, providing insights to drive strategic decision-making and business performance. You will partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and regional finance teams.

• Financial planning and analysis operations:
  • Consolidate and interpret company’s financial results to management and recommend improvement activities.
  • Report to management on variances from the established budget and the reasons for those variances.
  • Manage the preparation of the company’s budget and rolling forecasts.
• Finance and business partnership
  • Engage in benchmarking studies to establish areas of potential operational improvement.
  • Review company bottlenecks and recommend changes to improve the overall level of company throughput.
  • Engage in ongoing cost efficiency in all areas of the company.
  • Support decision making process at operational level with the area managers and department heads.
  • Assist in the determination of product pricing and value chain analysis.
• Strategic guidance
  • Assist management in the formulation of its overall strategic direction.
  • Lead business cases for strategic initiatives.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• MBA / MSc is a plus.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience.
• Experience in Middle East markets required.

Technical Skills

• Strong financial analysis and forecasting.
• Advanced SAP and Excel skills.
• Experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI).
• IFRS knowledge.

Languages Skills

• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
