Job Purpose
The Financial Planning Analyst will be based in Dubai and report directly to the FP&A Manager, AME. The role supports financial planning and analysis across the Middle East and Africa region, providing insights to drive strategic decision-making and business performance. You will partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and regional finance teams.
Responsibilities- Financial planning and analysis operations:
- Consolidate and interpret company’s financial results to management and recommend improvement activities.
- Report to management on variances from the established budget and the reasons for those variances.
- Manage the preparation of the company’s budget and rolling forecasts.
- Finance and business partnership
- Engage in benchmarking studies to establish areas of potential operational improvement.
- Review company bottlenecks and recommend changes to improve the overall level of company throughput.
- Engage in ongoing cost efficiency in all areas of the company.
- Support decision making process at operational level with the area managers and department heads.
- Assist in the determination of product pricing and value chain analysis.
- Strategic guidance
- Assist management in the formulation of its overall strategic direction.
- Lead business cases for strategic initiatives.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- MBA / MSc is a plus.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience.
- Experience in Middle East markets required.
Technical Skills
- Strong financial analysis and forecasting.
- Advanced SAP and Excel skills.
- Experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI).
- IFRS knowledge.
Languages Skills
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
Soft/Behavioral Skills
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced matrix organization.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management.

- Ability to simplify complex financial concepts.
