About The Role

We’re looking for a Head of Operations to build and run the day‑to‑day operations, ensuring seamless and controlled end‑to‑end trading operations for millions of customers. You’ll design processes and controls that deliver high impact, minimise incidents, and meet all regulatory and client money obligations.
What You’ll Be Doing- Aligning with global W&T operations
- Implementing and maintaining robust first‑line controls across operations, including maker‑checker, reconciliations, exception management, and access/entitlement controls
- Collaborating closely with Customer Support, Compliance, Risk, and Finance to support regulatory reporting, transaction reporting, and client money/safeguarding regimes
- Participating in risk assessments, audits, and regulatory reviews, developing action plans and remediation
- Leading investigations and resolutions of operational incidents, near misses, and client‑impacting issues, and driving root‑cause analysis and sustainable fixes
- Defining and tracking operational KRIs and KPIs, producing clear and insightful reporting to senior management
- Supporting the selection, onboarding, and ongoing management of key operational partners (brokers, custodians, middle‑office providers, data vendors, etc.)
- Ensuring contractual obligations and operational dependencies are well‑understood and managed
- A degree in finance, business, economics, engineering, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in a securities business (fintech or brokers) in operations
- An understanding of end‑to‑end trading and post‑trade flows across multiple asset classes (equities and ETFs are essential; fixed income, derivatives, FX, or funds are beneficial)
- A track record of designing, implementing, and testing effective operational controls
- Familiarity with UAE or regional regulatory requirements for brokerage operations, or demonstrable ability to learn and apply new regulatory frameworks quickly
- To be comfortable working with data and basic tooling (e.g., Excel, BI tools, SQL)
- A proven ability to operate in fast‑changing, high‑growth environments and manage competing priorities
