We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager preferably with a background in construction, fit‑out or project related businesses to manage the financial, procurement and administrative activities of the Go Group companies. Given the rate of growth of the group, the role will work closely with the GM to ensure robust management and support structures are in place to ensure full governance of the organisation and business integrity is in place.
Key Responsibilities- Manage Support services:
Oversee the day‑to‑day finance, procurement and administration activities, ensuring a strong working relationship exists with operational departments and 360 Group. - Financial Reporting:
Oversee management and statutory financial reporting:
Prepare periodic budget, forecast and actual management and statutory accounts, providing variance explanations to management as required. - Project accounting:
Ensure compliance with accounting standards for revenue recognition, work in progress cost accounting and managing project margins versus budget. Identifying risks and recommending offset actions. - Cash Flow Management:
Monitor cash flow for ongoing projects, ensuring effective working capital management. Coordinate with project managers to forecast cash needs and optimize cash positions. - Tax Filing & Compliance:
Ensure corporate and VAT returns are submitted by known deadlines and adhere to local tax laws. - Statutory Accounting:
Ensure all statutory financial reporting is completed in accordance with local accounting standards and IFRS. Manage external auditor relationships where required. - Internal Controls & Compliance:
Develop, implement and monitor internal controls to ensure robust finance/procurement policies and procedures. - Reconciliation:
Ensure timely reconciliation of project accounts, bank accounts, and supplier payments. - Contract & Payment Management:
Oversee contract reviews from a financial and procurement perspective and manage accounts payable and receivable for project contracts and suppliers. - ERP (Zoho) System Management:
Ensure efficient use of ERP system for financial reporting and project accounting. - Manage the groups administration services.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent certification preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with specific expertise in project accounting or fit‑out/construction industry.
- Strong experience in tax filing and statutory accounting in the UAE.
- Solid understanding of UAE tax laws (including VAT) and IFRS standards.
- Proficient in ERP systems and advanced in Excel.
- Detail‑oriented with excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English.
