Senior Accountant

Gateway Advertising is seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Accountant to join its finance team in Dubai. This role is ideal for a finance professional with strong accounting expertise and a solid understanding of financial operations, taxation, and reporting requirements within the UAE business environment.

• Manage daily accounting operations and oversee the complete accounting cycle.
• Prepare accurate financial statements and monthly Management Information System (MIS) reports.
• Supervise payroll processing and coordinate Wage Protection System (WPS) requirements.
• Handle accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and collection activities.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and Corporate Tax requirements, including timely filings.
• Monitor company expenditures and evaluate project costing and profitability.
• Maintain financial records and support management with financial analysis and reporting.
• Assist in improving accounting procedures and internal financial controls.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Professional certifications such as CMA or ACCA are considered an advantage.
• Minimum 4 years of hands‑on accounting experience in a similar role.
• Previous experience within the Events and Exhibitions sector is preferred.
• Strong understanding of UAE VAT regulations and Corporate Tax compliance.
• Experience using accounting software such as Tally Prime or similar financial systems.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities within strict deadlines.
• Immediate availability or short notice period preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Financial Reporting and Financial Statements Preparation.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax Compliance.
• Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Management.
• Strong knowledge of Payroll Processing and WPS Coordination.
• Strong knowledge of Tally Prime and Accounting Software Systems.
• Strong knowledge of Budgeting, Cost Control, and Profitability Analysis.
