Global Head of Contracting Finance

• Provide leadership and hands‑on guidance to the assigned marketing division to achieve pre‑set financial and non‑financial objectives
• Global client relationships across GCC plus Korea, Japan, Turkey, China, Spain, Italy, etc.
• Develop a broad strategy for the assigned division for all aspects of the business i.e. assets, liabilities, products, systems, recovery and Human Resources.
• Team viewed as one of the best in the market, driving strategies and transaction benchmarks that are often used by the region’s other banks.
• Developed clear expertise in a complicated business; thought leaders across the region.

• Plan, budget and track assets, liabilities, contingents and non‑performing assets and their impact on revenue, costs and recoveries to enhance customer/ product prodigality.
• Segment, exploit markets to broad base the portfolio and pursue growth opportunities.
• Review the existing commercial portfolio to maintain and enhance the asset quality and control risks while exploiting opportunities to maximize revenues.
• Implement credit controls in line with the bank’s credit policy and local regulatory directives to attain a satisfactory rating on portfolio quality and credit management process.
• Review the credit policy and recommend relevant changes in line with the rapidly changing business environment.
• Develop strong working relationships with key business, industry leaders and forums to position the bankas their No.1 bank.
• Recruit, train, develop and motivate people in line with the Division needs to meet the Bank’s objective of being the first choice of employees. Target and recruit keymarketing personnel from competition bank jointly with corporate affairs.
• Conceptualize develop and implement 1-3 new product initiatives, within area of responsibility.
• Responsible for recovery of classified assets jointly with WRM.
• Support all of CIBG’s product Initiatives i.e. TGM, Cash Management, and GTB.
• Evaluate and develop new delivery channels both to attract new business and improve efficiency and effectiveness. Control costs in line with approved Budget.
• Expand funding resources and increase deposits to match asset growth.
• Drive new‑to‑bank client acquisition from target growth markets such as China and Turkey.

• Proficiency in credit, marketing, operating, legal, product and balance sheet management is a pre‑requisite.
• Incumbent must have hands‑on comprehensive 25 years of experience gained through broad exposure to complex business issues.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the domestic and international markets where the bankscustomers operate.
• Strong intuitive and judgment skills to evaluate customers beyond the obvious
• Specialized in‑depth knowledge of the Bank’s policies and operating systems.
• Demonstrated leadership skills to include visionary and strategic planning capacity, ability to attract and develop leaders from diverse backgrounds. Consensus building and conflict resolution skills. Ability to inspire, motivate and retain talent.
