• Monthly Closing & Reporting:
  Own and streamline the end‑to‑end month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end closing processes. Design efficient closing schedules, coordinate with regional accounting teams, and deliver accurate, timely financial reporting packages (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) to the executive leadership team and board.
• Financial Control & Consolidation:
  Oversee international financial operations and direct the multi‑country consolidation of financial statements across various subsidiaries and geographies (EMEA), ensuring strict adherence to IFRS.
• Regulatory & Tax Compliance:
  Manage and ensure compliance with local and international statutory laws, tax regulations, corporate governance, and Economic Substance Regulations (ESR) across the UAE and expanding European/GCC markets.
• Audit & Partnership Management:
  Serve as the primary liaison for external auditors, tax consultants, and banking partners. Lead the annual group audit process smoothly.
• Process Automation & Systems:
  Evaluate, implement, and optimize scalable financial software and ERP systems (e.g., Net Suite, Oracle) to automate workflows, reduce manual closing times, and support Huspy’s tech‑first approach.
• Treasury & Cash Flow Management:
  Monitor multi‑currency cash flows, working capital, and FX risks, ensuring capital is optimized to support aggressive growth and operational benchmarks.
• Internal Controls &
  
  Risk Management:
  
  Design, implement, and reinforce bulletproof internal controls and financial policies to safeguard startup assets, prevent fraud, and minimize operational risk.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  
  Partner closely with FP&A and Strategic Financial Analysts to analyze budget variances, optimize cost centers, and provide financial insights to the product, operations, and real‑estate growth teams.

• Experience:
  
  8+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a Group Financial Controller or senior managerial role.
• Industry Background:
  Proven experience working in a high‑growth tech startup, marketplace, fintech, or proptech environment is highly preferred. Experience navigating multi‑entity regional corporate structures is essential.
• Education & Certification:
  Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting. Professional accounting designation is required (CA, ACCA, ACA).
• Technical Acumen:
  Mastery of international accounting standards (IFRS). Advanced proficiency in modern cloud‑based ERP systems and data analysis tools.
• Mindset: A "growth‑mindset" suited for a fast‑paced environment. Excellent leadership and communication skills to clearly articulate complex financial matters to non‑finance stakeholders.
