Accountant – Execution Affairs

Job Description

The Government of Dubai Legal Affairs Department (the "Department") is seeking to recruit an Accountant at Execution Affairs at the Support Services Directorate to perform duties relevant to accounting in relation to judgments and writs of execution, ensuring compliance with financial laws and bylaws applicable in the Government of Dubai.

• Review statements of execution in terms of calculation according to judgments and other writs of execution.
• Recalculate and review the financial values associated with the execution.
• Follow up the paid amounts in the execution files, remaining amounts and financial transfers, and review electronic registers that include money movements associated with the execution.
• Review the submitted requests and installment plans, submit alternative plans and follow up the payment procedures.
• Prepare the financial section of internal statistics associated with the execution.
• Check that the amounts of execution are correct and, if the defendant submitted a request, submit refund requests for excess amounts.
• Prepare and submit periodic financial reports associated with the execution.

• 3 to 5 years of experience.
• Bachelor of Accounting.

• Familiarity with judgments analysis in terms of calculation.
• Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with superiors and colleagues.
• Ability to manage workload and time effectively.
• Organizational skills, planning, and innovation.
• Computer literacy.
• Fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
