The Corporate Finance Director will lead capital markets fundraising initiatives across both equity and debt financing, including private and public transactions, and oversee investor relations activities for Vingroup and its member companies, with a primary focus on the electric vehicle (EV) sector and its broader ecosystem. The role will be responsible for developing and executing financing strategies that support the Group’s growth objectives, optimize capital structure, and enhance access to global capital markets.
Beyond transaction execution, the Director will serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on capital allocation, funding strategy, market positioning, investor engagement, and long-term shareholder value creation.
Key Responsibilities- Define and execute equity and debt capital markets strategy, identifying optimal timing and structures.
- Lead and execute fundraising transactions (private and public) and manage investor relations activities for group companies across assigned sectors.
- Manage IR function with banks, credit investors, rating agencies, and other financing partners to support the Group’s funding requirements.
- Oversee financial modeling and valuation, including building company models from scratch for group companies.
- Prepare management presentations, offering circulars, investor presentations, annual reports, and other documents as requested by shareholders, investors, and management.
- Coordinate both internal and external teams to lead the due diligence process and manage transaction documentation.
- Monitor post‑completion transactions, ensuring compliance and timely reporting.
- Conduct market research, sector analysis, and monitor stock movements to support decision‑making and strategy development.
- A degree in Banking, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (advanced degrees are a plus).
- At least 15 years of experience in advisory, investment (private equity, venture capital, banks), equity research, or roles in investment banks or large corporations, with a focus on fundraising, investor relations, financial planning, and investment activities.
- Proven history of leading large‑scale international fundraising rounds.
- Expert‑level knowledge of debt and equity deal structuring, international securities law, and sophisticated corporate finance principles.
- Exceptional negotiation prowess, visionary business judgment, and the ability to navigate complex, fast‑paced environments.
