Director, Private Banking

A DIFC-based External Asset Manager is recruiting a results-oriented Senior Relationship Manager, Private Banking to join their DIFC-based external asset management firm. This pivotal role is focused on expanding our client base, deepening relationships, and driving growth in assets under management. The ideal candidate brings a solid track record in wealth advisory and thrives in a fast-paced, client-centric environment.

Experience

Required:

Minimum 10 years in private banking, wealth management, and investment advisory.

• Cultivate and manage long-term relationships with HNWI/UHNWI clients, family offices, and key intermediaries.
• Provide tailored investment, wealth planning, and credit solutions aligned with clients’ financial goals.
• Actively grow AUM through strategic acquisition and deepening of existing relationships.
• Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and internal risk policies.
• Collaborate with product specialists, investment advisors, and legal teams to deliver holistic client solutions.
• Represent the bank at high-profile events, forums, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and client engagement.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Private Banking or Wealth Management.
• Demonstrated success in managing a transferable book of HNWI/UHNWI clients with AUM ¥ USD 50 million.
• Deep understanding of global financial markets, investment products, and wealth structuring.
• Strong network across GCC, Europe, Asia, or other key financial hubs.
• Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.
