Head of Hedging​/Senior Hedging Specialist; Oil Trading; Head of Hedgi

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement commodity price risk hedging strategies.
• Manage and monitor hedging positions across crude oil and petroleum products portfolios.
• Analyze market exposure and trading portfolio risks.
• Calculate, analyze and monitor P&L.
• Perform trading position reconciliation and maintain position control.
• Ensure consistency and alignment between physical and paper derivative transactions.
• Collaborate closely with traders, commercial teams, and finance functions.
• Prepare analytical reports on hedging effectiveness and performance.
• Participate in the development and enhancement of risk management processes.

• Higher education in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Risk Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in oil trading, petroleum products trading, market risk management, or hedging.
• Deep understanding of hedging instruments and strategies within crude oil and petroleum products markets.
• Hands‑on experience with derivative financial instruments, including Futures, OTC Contracts, Commodity Derivatives.
• Proven experience in commodity price risk hedging.
• Experience in P&L calculation and analysis.
• Experience in trade position reconciliation, as well as reconciliation of physical and financial transactions.
• Fluent English language skills.

Due to business growth the company is seeking an experienced professional in the field of market risk hedging. Both strong Senior‑level specialists and candidates at the Head of Hedging level will be considered. The position reports directly to the Commercial Director.

The role is based in Dubai, UAE and is office‑based with a Monday to Friday schedule.
