DMCC Sr. Finance & Accounts Executive

Sr Executive
- Finance Accounts position will report to the Finance Manager. This position is based in Dubai, UAE and will be responsible for all accounting and financial activities of the organization.

• Perform and control the full accounting process, audit cycle, including risk management and control management over operations’ effectiveness, financial reliability, and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations.
• Monthly and yearly closing and timely submission of the management report to directors, shareholders, and managers; finalization of all company accounts and intercompany transactions, and consolidation of accounts.
• Deal with bankers, investment firms, and family office structures on any matters related to the company.
• Obtain, analyze, and evaluate accounting and commercial documentation, previous reports, data, flowcharts, and other related materials of various functions of the organization.
• Handle legal formalities required for the setup of a new company, renewal of licenses, certificates, and related processes.
• Facilitate statutory audits for the company and its subsidiaries.
• Deal with multinational and overseas companies.
• Review contracts and agreements, minutes of the directors’ meetings, and board resolutions.
• Identify loopholes and recommend risk‑aversion measures and cost‑saving opportunities.
• Possess deep knowledge about UAE corporate tax, VAT registration, and preference for candidates with experience in the UAE market and an understanding of local business practices and regulations.
• Oversee the preparation and accuracy of monthly financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Engage in continuous knowledge development regarding the sector’s rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques, and performance standards.
