About the Opportunity

A leading government entity in the UAE is seeking an experienced Financial Advisor to provide strategic financial advisory services and support executive decision‑making across major initiatives, investments, transformation programs, and governance frameworks. This is a senior‑level position requiring extensive experience in strategic finance, financial governance, regulatory compliance, investment analysis, and executive advisory. The successful candidate will work closely with executive leadership providing independent financial assessments, scenario analysis, risk evaluation, and strategic recommendations that contribute to financial sustainability, revenue growth, and institutional performance.

• Strategic Financial Advisory – Provide strategic financial advice on major projects, investments, transformation initiatives, and partnership opportunities. Conduct financial feasibility studies, valuation assessments, scenario modelling, and long‑term financial forecasting. Analyse financial, investment, regulatory, and risk implications of strategic initiatives. Advise on capital structure, funding strategies, and investment opportunities. Monitor economic, financial, and regulatory trends and provide executive‑level insights.
• Executive Decision Support – Review and analyse financial memoranda, business cases, and strategic proposals submitted to senior leadership. Prepare executive financial reports and Board‑level analytical presentations. Assess strategic alternatives and provide recommendations highlighting financial impact, risks, and opportunities. Support resource allocation decisions through portfolio‑level financial analysis.
• Governance, Risk & Compliance – Advise on financial governance frameworks, internal controls, and regulatory compliance. Evaluate financial, tax, and regulatory requirements impacting strategic decisions. Assess financial risks associated with major initiatives and recommend mitigation strategies. Support governance enhancement initiatives aligned with international best practices.
• Financial Transformation & Innovation – Provide advisory support on digital finance transformation initiatives. Contribute to AI, automation, analytics, and financial technology projects. Support the development of executive dashboards and financial performance monitoring frameworks. Drive initiatives focused on financial sustainability, revenue optimisation, and operational efficiency.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Financial Management, Strategic Finance, or a related discipline.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum 16 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree, or 18 years with a Bachelor's degree. Extensive experience in strategic finance, governance, compliance, risk management, financial advisory, and executive decision support.
• Professional Exposure:
  Strong exposure to listed companies, capital markets, investment institutions, sovereign entities, regulatory bodies, or large government organisations is highly preferred.
• Leadership Support:
  Proven experience supporting Board members, executive committees, or C‑suite stakeholders.
