Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain various payroll records and reports, maintaining accurate payroll calculations and processing internal and external payroll transactions.
- Responsible to track and manage GL entries of monthly provisions and amortization, EOSB, medical insurance etc.
- Timely and accurate processing of EOS support all internal and external audit requirements where data from the HR systems is required and ensure all findings are investigated and resolved.
- Own data accuracy and maintenance of the data in the system.
- Complete all Payroll Benefits tasks and transactions required for the financial month‑end closing steps.
- Assist with reconciliation of all relevant accounts and ensure that this is completed to corporate standards.
- Maintain confidentiality of all HR and Company information.
- Develop and implement strategies for the continuous improvement of the payroll function, including review of payroll processes and procedures and recommending best practices.
- Automate entire payroll process including time and attendance system and simplify payroll process.
- Review and approve final payroll result prior to payment.
- Ensure that defined check controls and validations are executed.
- Ensure right first‑time reporting with an eye for detail.
- Ensure payroll is released by the 26th day of the month.
- Experience working with accounting and payroll software, such as AX, Dynamics, ORACLE, SAP etc.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and proficient in the use of Outlook, PowerPoint and Word.
- Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and payroll practices.
- Ability to professionally and clearly prepare business correspondence.
- Ability to work in a high‑pressure environment and maintain accuracy while sticking to SLA's.
