Responsibilities
As a Senior Manager in International Tax Services / M&A, you’ll lead strategic engagements and drive complex cross-border transactions, providing high-level guidance from planning through execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Shape and expand thought leadership in international tax structuring, transaction advisory, and post-deal integration across the region.
- Oversee and direct end-to-end M&A tax engagements, including due diligence, tax modeling, structuring alternatives, and implementation strategies for regional and multinational clients.
- Interpret and influence complex international tax rules and local regulations, translating them into actionable strategies and governance frameworks for large-scale transactions.
- Design and implement tax‑efficient structures at a strategic level, aligning with client objectives and coordinating across finance, legal, and executive stakeholders.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to C‑suite and senior leadership, delivering insights on regulatory changes, market trends, and their impact on business strategy and deal execution.
- Lead and mentor multi‑disciplinary teams, setting quality standards, driving innovation, and ensuring successful delivery in high‑pressure, ambiguous environments.
- Develop and contribute to firm‑wide knowledge assets and market‑facing thought leadership, including advanced playbooks, training programs, and regional best practices.
- Monitor global and regional regulatory developments, proactively advising clients and internal leadership on strategic implications for deal structuring and compliance.
- Drive business development and growth, leading solution design for RFPs, shaping statements of work, and building a robust pipeline through regional and global collaboration.
- Advise on outbound transactions, guiding tax‑efficient structuring for investments and expansions into foreign jurisdictions, while managing risk and compliance at scale.
- Demonstrated experience in tax advisory, compliance, and international tax matters, ideally with exposure to Pillar Two regulations.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. - Designations &
Certifications:
Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent. - Technical
Skills:
strong knowledge of international tax principles, cross‑border transaction structuring, and M&A tax considerations and well as proficiency in tax due diligence, deal modeling, and integration planning.
- Leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Problem‑solving and strategic thinking under tight deadlines.
- Language
Skills:
Fluency in English;
Arabic is an advantage. - Travel Requirements:
Flexibility to travel and work away from the base office on a regular basis with frequent overnight stays, as needed.
