Business Unit OverviewIn Corporate Tax, you will focus on offering Corporate Tax advisory and working with our Delivery Centre on compliance, dispute resolution and tax accounting services to clients. You will provide advice and guidance on tax planning, strategy, helping businesses optimise their tax positions and navigate complex tax regulations to ensure compliance.
How You’ll ContributeWe are seeking a high-performing Manager to join our Corporate tax team in the United Arab Emirates (Dubai or Abu Dhabi office). You will work with our Delivery Centre (i.r.o. compliance) and support Senior Managers and Directors with multi-disciplinary engagement teams to deliver high-quality Corporate tax advisory and compliance services to a diverse portfolio of clients, including UAE and international corporate groups, sovereign entities and private businesses.
This role is pivotal in driving technical excellence, client relationship management, business development, and people leadership within a fast-evolving UAE tax landscape.
- Manage the end‑to‑end delivery of complex corporate tax engagements, acting as the day‑to‑day point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Oversee corporate tax compliance and advisory projects, including corporate tax returns, group restructuring, and business model optimization.
- Prepare technical analyses, engagement deliverables, and client communications to ensure accuracy, practicality, and alignment with regulatory requirements and firm quality standards.
- Interpret and apply UAE corporate tax law, Cabinet/Ministerial Decisions, FTA guidance, free zone regimes, and relevant international tax principles, and collaborate with colleagues across Indirect Tax, Legal, Deals, and Assurance to deliver integrated solutions.
- Play an active role in business development by identifying opportunities, shaping proposals, pricing and scoping engagements, and presenting to prospective clients.
- Manage and mentor junior team members, conduct performance reviews, and foster an inclusive, high‑performance culture focused on continuous improvement, innovation, and digital tools.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, law, or a related discipline. An advanced degree and/or a professional qualification in Accounting or Law (e.g., Attorney, CTA, ADIT, CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent) is an advantage.
- 4–6 years of progressive corporate tax experience in a professional services firm, with at least 2–3 years at an assistant manager/manager level leading teams and engagements.
- Strong technical knowledge of corporate tax legislation and implementing guidance, with practical experience in corporate tax compliance and advisory (UAE corporate tax experience is an advantage).
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex tax matters into clear, commercially relevant advice.
- Experience in project management, able to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholder priorities while maintaining high quality and attention to detail.
- Strong client‑service mindset, sound judgment, and the ability to navigate ambiguity in a developing tax environment.
- Proficiency with MS Office and tax technology tools, and open to adopting data‑driven methods and automation.
- Arabic language proficiency is an advantage but not required.
- Proficient with MS Office and tax compliance platforms, and familiar with data extraction and transformation for tax compliance and reporting.
- Comfortable utilising and developing market‑leading tax technology to support your role and deliver value to our clients, including AI, automation and analytics.
