Finance Manager
Dubai, UAE – Leading Company – AED Negotiable
NTS Group is recruiting a Finance Manager for a leading company in Dubai. As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for all financial and fiscal management aspects of company operations in Dubai and partly in the UK.
You will have experience and extensive knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including IFRS. Experience in strategic planning, contracting, negotiation and execution, as well as willingness to work a flexible schedule will be required.
Responsible for ensuring all transactions meet the goals and requirements as developed by the Group Chief Financial Officer.
Key Responsibilities- Establish, maintain, review, and implement strong financial and internal controls
- Establish, maintain and execute cash management, bookkeeping, and AP/AR systems
- Establish and maintain a treasury function
- Work with management to develop and maintain the company’s financial policies and procedures
- Hire and manage accounting personnel as needed
- Interface and liaise with the various departments internally
- Prepare periodic financial reports (internal and external)
- Establish and oversee payroll and accounts receivable and payable, including billings and collections
- Prepare materials for audits and financial compliance activities
- Monitor debt/credit
- Establish and maintain banking relationships
- Three or more years of experience in a managerial and/or controller role
- Three or more years of experience with one of the ‘big four’ accounting firms
- Treasury‑function experience
- Experience starting and/or revamping accounting systems and controls in the creation of a new division, branch, or company
- Willing to stand up for what she/he thinks is right, not afraid to make decisions
- Fluent in English with good communication skills
- Superior interpersonal skills; able to work effectively with all levels, cultures, and functions
- Keen understanding of the company’s business activities
- Qualified Chartered Accountant or ACCA
- Solid knowledge of IFRS
