Host / Hostess (Russian Speaking) at Crowne Plaza Dubai Marina

The Crowne Plaza Dubai Marina is a 3,037 square‑meter hotel located in the cosmopolitan Dubai Marina area. With 273 rooms and a prestigious location next to Dubai Marina Mall and a picturesque pedestrian promenade, it offers modern amenities for both business and leisure travelers.

We are currently recruiting a full‑time Hostess to join our enthusiastic team. As a Host/Hostess you must present a positive first impression, friendliness, excellent service, and high standards. You will greet guests upon arrival, manage waiting lists, and ensure a smooth dining experience.

Responsibilities
  • Greet incoming and departing guests warmly with a genuine smile and eye contact; escort them to the assigned dining area and present menus.
  • Use visual cues to seat guests in either the bar or dining area depending on their preference.
  • Inform guests of current promotions and who will be serving them to ensure a smooth handoff to the service staff.
  • Answer incoming calls to the restaurant and provide appropriate service.
  • Manage the flow of guests into the dining and bar areas, providing accurate wait times as appropriate.
  • Carry out natural conversation with guests without sounding scripted or intrusive, and attend to special guest needs and requests.
  • Observe guests’ needs throughout the dining experience to ensure they receive high‑quality service, e.g., noticing a drink refill is needed while seating another guest.
  • Protect the establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety and alcohol control policies.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Qualifications

Ideally, you have a minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role in a four‑ or five‑star hotel or comparable industry. You should be able to demonstrate collaboration with and engagement for teams from different cultures, possess strong verbal and written communication skills, focus on quality and details, meet high performance standards, multitask and meet deadlines, and have technical proficiency in related software.
