An Assistant Front Office Manager supports the Director of Front Office to deliver a seamless, personalized and luxury guest experience. With a strong lobby presence, the role drives service excellence, coaches and empowers the team, ensures brand compliance and contributes to key performance results aligned with Hilton Standards.
What will I be doing?- Lead and oversee daily Front Office Operations with professionalism, warmth, efficiency, ensuring seamless check‑in and check‑out experiences for all guests.
- Actively monitor guest feedback and concerns, responding with urgency, empathy and effective solutions to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Manage and control room upgrades in line with availability, brand standards, and established guidelines, ensuring fair and transparent decision‑making.
- Supervise, coach and support the Front Office team across all shifts, ensuring appropriate staffing levels, clear allocation and consistent adherence to Conrad Luxury service standards.
- Ensure all supervisors and duty managers provide real‑time, on‑the‑spot feedback during operations to reinforce service excellence, correct performance gaps and maintain Forbes Luxury Standards.
- Provide operational oversight and coordination across all Front Office sub‑departments, Reception, Concierge, Executive Lounge and Conrad Services ensuring alignment and service consistency.
- Oversee Executive Lounge operations, ensuring service remains within budget, conducting regular quality checks during buffet and service hours to confirm food and beverage freshness, presentation standards and hygiene compliance.
- Collaborate closely with Housekeeping, Engineering, Revenue and other departments to ensure seamless operations and prompt resolution of issues.
- Support the Director of Front Office in achieving departmental objectives, driving KPIs, improving engagement and ensuring excellence in guest experience.
- Demonstrate expert knowledge of Hilton Honors benefits, residence services and local attractions to deliver anticipatory, personalized service.
- Foster a respectful, inclusive, and collaborative work environment that reflects Conrad's luxury standards, brand values and ethical culture.
- Serve as a culture ambassador and role model, ensuring every interaction reflects integrity, professionalism, discretion, positivity and elevated service.
- Proven experience in Front Office operations, with 2-3 years in a managerial role within a luxury hotel.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with guests, team members and senior leadership in a professional and approachable manner.
- Strong leadership and people management abilities, with a track record of coaching, mentoring and motivating high‑performing teams.
- Proficiency in hotel management systems such as Opera/OnQ.
- Strong analytical skills and familiarity with reporting tools and Microsoft Office applications are a plus.
- High level of professionalism, integrity and accountability in guest service, team leadership, and operational decision making.
