Swissotel Al Ghurair & Swissotel Living Al Ghurair Hotel is a 620-room-and-suite upper upscale property. Catering for both business and leisure clientele. The hotel is located in Deira in the heart of Dubai and within easy reach of major tourist landmarks, leisure destinations and city services. It is linked to the Al Ghurair Shopping Centre, only 3 stops away on the Dubai Metro from the Dubai World Trade Centre and a 10-minute drive from Dubai International Airport.

As a Laundry Attendant you are responsible for the cleanliness of linen and assistance of laundry operations as instructed by supervisors while adhering to hotel policies and procedures.

• Familiar with the specific guidelines and instructions given by the floor or assistant laundry manager (depending on the hotel) and apply them
• Knowledge and correct handling of the different types of linen
• Check that equipment is in good working order, informing the floor or head housekeeper (depending on the hotel) of any anomalies
• Ensure that guest documentation is complete and up-to-date
• Apply the procedure for handling lost property
• Ensure proper use of equipment and chemicals
• Responsible for the “master key”
• Handle guest items with utmost care to avoid damages, shrinkage, lost buttons, etc.
• Carry out other tasks as directed by your supervisors

• Minimum 2–3 years of previous experience in the hotel industry is preferred.
• Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and guest oriented.
• Constant standing and walking throughout shift.
• Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting.

Please note that you must be eligible to live and work in Dubai. Swissotel Al Ghurair & Swissotel Living Al Ghurair will cover visa costs and flights for selected candidates from place of origin.
