Guest Relations Agent at Inter Continental Dubai Marina Hotel & Residences

As an ambassador of the Inter Continental brand, you will provide a welcoming environment to guests at the Five-Star Inter Continental Dubai Marina Hotel & Residences.

Your role will include:

• Deliver a sincere sense of welcome and hospitality to all guests passing through the lobby.
• Escort guests to their rooms respecting hotel policy and procedures.
• Perform daily courtesy calls upon arrival, pre-/post-stay, IHG Rewards Club and Ambassador guests as well as return guests following complaints to give special recognition and follow‑up.
• Ensure that all customers’ queries, special requests and complaints are handled in a polite, efficient manner while maintaining a consistent high level of customer service. Refer problems to supervisor if unable to assist.
• Update all Guest Profiles with preferences, and maintain an efficient, up to date Guest Profile database in PMS, as well as a regular guest history log.
• Ensure high recognition of IHG Rewards Club and Ambassador Members in order to achieve optimal scores in the Heart Beat survey and other guest satisfaction surveys.

Ideally, you'll have some or all of the following qualifications and experience we’re looking for:

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel.
• A team player with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of Opera PMS.
• Fluent in English;
  German and French speaking candidates are preferred.
• Ability to work different shifts including weekends and holidays.
