Lifeguard

The One&Only The Palm Hotel in Dubai is seeking a Lifeguard to maintain water safety for resort guests.

• Attend to the needs of resort guests.
• Assigned to a zone of protection, ensure guest safety and enforce safety rules.
• Provide instructions to swimmers.
• Hose down after the operating day.
• Contribute to resort clean‑up, including trash pickup and pressure washing.
• Perform job function within all resort policies, standards and procedures.
• Stand for long periods of time and perform activities that require flexibility.
• Tolerate cold and hot weather, plus cold water.
• Lift heavy people on a backboard and perform rescues requiring physical exertion.
• Carry heavy objects such as hoses, tables, and signs.
• Perform any and all tasks assigned by supervisors necessary for the operation.
• Other assigned duties necessitated by operational demand.

• 1–2 years’ experience in an upscale luxury hospitality industry or five‑star hotels.
• Strong attention to detail, flexibility and the ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English—and/or another language.
• Middle East/GCC experience is an advantage.

Report directly to the Recreation Manager.
