Head of HR & Admin

About the Role

This is a full-time on-site role to lead the local HR and Administration team for Midea Middle East and Africa located in Dubai. The Head of HR & Admin will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Human Resources strategies, practices and processes in the Business Unit.

• Developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
• Supporting current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital.
• Managing the recruitment and selection process to fulfilment the team and build up talent pool.
• Overseeing and managing the performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
• Maintaining compensation plan and benefits program.
• Assessing training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
• Bridging management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues to nurture a positive and diverse working environment.
• Ensuring legal compliance throughout human resource management.

• 8+ years’ proven working experience in Human resources in FMCG/consumer goods industries. Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics.
• Business & People oriented and Results driven.
• Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
• Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
• In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices in Middle East and Africa countries.
• Fluent in English. Mandarin are an added plus.
