The VP Human Resources will be a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for developing and leading the end-to-end people strategy. The successful candidate will be tasked with building a modern, high-performing HR function that supports the company's transformation, expansion into new markets, and the relocation of operations to Dubai.
This role requires a seasoned HR executive with experience in vertical fashion retail, who can drive operational excellence across both corporate and field HR functions, while fostering a strong and inclusive company culture. The successful candidate will provide strategic and operational leadership across the full spectrum of human capital management, from workforce planning and talent acquisition to employee engagement, organizational development, and employer branding.
Key Responsibilities- Define and execute a progressive HR strategy aligned to company-wide business goals and international expansion.
- Partner closely with the executive team to support the transition and growth of the business in Dubai and beyond.
- Lead, inspire, and scale a high-performing HR team across all corporate and retail functions.
- Drive workforce efficiency by aligning organizational structure, headcount, and productivity metrics to business goals and operational priorities.
- Design and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent across all business functions.
- Implement efficient, scalable recruitment processes for both corporate roles and high-volume retail hiring.
- Develop programs to identify, nurture, and retain high-potential talent across the organization.
- Lead succession planning and leadership development initiatives to future-proof the business.
- Build and oversee HR operations frameworks that support both retail field teams and head office staff.
- Ensure HR practices are scalable, compliant, and consistent across geographies.
- Build and enhance company reputation as an employer of choice in the fashion retail and Dubai talent markets.
- Develop external and internal communications to support brand positioning and employee engagement.
- Shape a collaborative, values-led company culture that supports innovation, performance, and inclusion.
- Lead employee engagement and feedback programs to drive retention and morale.
- Oversee design and management of competitive compensation and benefits structures.
- Ensure efficient and transparent HR budget planning and resource allocation.
- Ensure HR policies and procedures are compliant with UAE labor laws and international best practices.
- Advise leadership on organizational change and potential risks.
- Proven track record in senior HR leadership roles within vertical fashion retail or related consumer industries.
- Experience managing HR across multi-site retail operations, ideally within both emerging and mature markets.
- Deep understanding of Middle Eastern talent markets, labor laws, and cultural nuances.
- Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and scale HR functions during periods of organizational transformation.
- Strong track record in recruitment, talent development, field HR, and employer branding.
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
