Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Specialist to manage high-volume payroll operations (500+ employees) across multiple entities. The role requires strong expertise in UAE WPS, SIF file preparation, labor law compliance, and coordination with Finance and PRO teams to ensure accurate and timely salary processing.
This position demands strong attention to detail, compliance knowledge, and the ability to manage payroll independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities 1. High-Volume Payroll Management (500+ Employees)- Process end-to-end monthly payroll for 500+ employees across multiple locations.
- Validate attendance, overtime, leave, incentives, deductions, and adjustments.
- Ensure payroll accuracy for new joiners, resignations, EOSB, and final settlements.
- Maintain structured payroll records and documentation.
- Prepare and upload WPS files in compliance with UAE regulations.
- Generate and validate SIF (Salary Information File) before submission.
- Coordinate with banks and resolve WPS rejection issues.
- Ensure zero penalties related to delayed or incorrect WPS submissions.
- Ensure compliance with UAE Labor Law, MOHRE regulations, and Free Zone rules.
- Support Oman payroll compliance (if applicable).
- Coordinate with PRO team for visa status changes affecting payroll.
- Ensure accurate EOSB calculations as per labor law.
- Calculate overtime, leave salary, air ticket encashment, bonuses, commissions.
- Process annual increments and salary revisions.
- Maintain employee compensation database and payroll cost reports.
- Prepare monthly payroll summaries for Finance.
- Provide manpower cost reports and payroll variance analysis.
- Maintain payroll dashboard and headcount tracking.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Maintain documentation for internal and external audits.
- Ensure strict confidentiality of payroll data.
- Implement payroll controls and validation checks.
- Address employee salary-related queries professionally.
- Issue payslips, salary certificates, and payroll confirmations.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Minimum 5–7 years of payroll experience in UAE.
- Proven experience handling payroll for 500+ employees.
- Strong hands-on experience in WPS and SIF file preparation.
- Excellent knowledge of UAE Labor Law.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas).
- Experience in payroll systems / ERP (Oracle, SAP, etc.) preferred.
- High accuracy and strong compliance mindset.
