Job Description

The HR & Admin Officer is crucial in ensuring the seamless operation of human resources and administrative functions within an organization. This role requires an individual who excels in both interpersonal and organizational skills, adeptly navigating the intricacies of HR policies while managing administrative duties with precision. With the dual responsibilities of maintaining efficient HR processes and sustaining a smooth administrative workflow, the HR & Admin Officer contributes significantly to fostering a productive workplace environment.

As the bridge between management and employees, they are pivotal in implementing HR strategies, managing office supplies, coordinating with vendors, and supporting company policies and objectives. A keen eye for detail, superb communication abilities, and a proactive approach are essential in meeting the dynamic demands of this role.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the recruitment process including advertising, screening, and scheduling interviews.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Manage employee records, ensuring all data is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Conduct onboarding sessions to integrate new hires into the organization effectively.
  • Administer payroll, benefits, and leave calculations in compliance with company policies.
  • Handle employee inquiries and issues, providing solutions and support as necessary.
  • Organize office operations and procedures, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Coordinate with external service providers for office supplies and equipment maintenance.
  • Participate in performance review processes and assist in training development initiatives.
  • Ensure the office environment complies with health and safety regulations and standards.
  • Process and handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Plan and execute company events, meetings, and employee engagement activities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar HR and administrative role of at least two years.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills to handle various duties efficiently.
  • Strong understanding of labor laws, employment regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse employees.
  • Proficiency in HR information systems software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations and information with a high level of discretion.
