Role Overview
The Assistant HR Manager will help ensure full compliance, data integrity, audit readiness, and execution excellence across Head Office and assigned outlets. The position supervises HR Executives and ensures timelines, documentation, and legal obligations are strictly adhered to.
Key ResponsibilitiesHR Operations Governance & Compliance
- Ensure 100% compliance with UAE Labour Law, DIFC, MOHRE, and internal policies
- Oversee visa status, medicals, Emirates , OHC, insurance enrolment and renewals
- Maintain audit-ready employee files
- Ensure probation confirmations and contract renewals are tracked and completed on time
- Conduct monthly HR compliance audits across assigned entities
- Audit and validate HRIS data (Keka or equivalent) for accuracy and completeness
- Monitor headcount movement, cost centre allocation, and employee status changes
- Ensure payroll inputs match system records and approved structures
- Generate and validate HR dashboards (HC, turnover, absenteeism, overtime, etc.)
- Maintain structured and organized shared HR folders (naming conventions, access control, documentation standards)
- Assist in consolidating payroll inputs from multiple outlets
- Review attendance, overtime, leave balances, and deductions
- Coordinate cross-charges between entities and cost centres
- Support financial audits related to HR and payroll
- Support the HR Manager in handling disciplinary cases
- Guide HR Executives on documentation standards for warnings, investigations, suspensions, and terminations
- Accompany HR Executives during disciplinary meetings when required
- Ensure documentation aligns with legal and audit standards
- Promote fair and consistent application of policies
- Work closely with PRO team on visa processing and labour documentation
- Monitor SLA timelines for renewals and submissions
- Ensure compliance across mainland and relevant jurisdictions
- Identify operational training gaps
- Support development and rollout of HR policies and SOPs
- Assist in succession planning and talent pipeline tracking
- Ensure onboarding processes are standardized across entities
- Ensure clear task allocation and follow-up
- Maintain execution discipline and timeline adherence
- Provide coaching on documentation, compliance, and case handling
- 3-5 years of HR experience, preferable in hospitality (multi‑outlet experience mandatory)
- Strong understanding of UAE Labour Law
- Strong exposure to payroll processing and attendance systems
- Experience managing multiple cost centres and cross‑entity structures
- High proficiency in HRIS systems
- Advanced Excel and reporting capability
- Strong audit mindset and attention to detail
- Ability to manage HR operations at scale
