We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Director (HRD) to lead the HR function for our African project. This is a strategic leadership role requiring relocation to Africa (Continent)
The ideal candidate will have strong HR leadership experience in Africa and a solid understanding of fast-growing, operational environments. FMCG experience will be considered a significant advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the HR strategy aligned with business objectives
- Lead workforce planning and organizational structuring
- Design and execute talent management and succession planning strategies
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention initiatives
- Manage compensation & benefits frameworks in line with local regulations and market standards
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and HR best practices
- Drive employee engagement, performance management, and leadership development
- Act as a strategic partner to senior management
Requirements:
- Proven experience as HR Director / Senior HR Leader
- Strong HR experience within Africa (mandatory)
- FMCG industry experience is a strong plus
- Solid background in talent management, compensation & benefits, and HR strategy
- Strong knowledge of labor legislation and HR compliance
- Willingness and readiness to relocate to Africa
