Learning & Development Manager
Inter Continental Dubai Marina Hotel & Residences, a Five‑Star luxury hotel and residence located in the heart of Dubai Marina with 328 rooms and residence suites.
ResponsibilitiesLead the hotel’s Learning & Development strategy, ensuring alignment with IHG brand standards, business objectives, and talent development priorities.
Design, implement and facilitate engaging training programs focused on product knowledge, customer service excellence, leadership development and operational effectiveness.
Partner closely with department heads and senior leadership to identify capability gaps, develop succession plans and create targeted learning initiatives that support employee growth and performance.
Drive a culture of continuous learning by coaching managers and colleagues, promoting career development opportunities and supporting talent retention initiatives.
Evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs through assessments, performance metrics, guest feedback and business results, ensuring continuous improvement.
Oversee onboarding, orientation and compliance training programs to ensure a seamless colleague experience and adherence to IHG standards.
Ensure all learning activities comply with safety, legal and company requirements while fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Manage learning records and reporting, providing regular insights and recommendations to senior leadership on training impact and development outcomes.
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Hospitality Management, Business Administration or a related field.
At least 2 years of experience in learning and development within the hospitality industry, with a focus on training program design and delivery.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with both staff and management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to assess training needs and measure program effectiveness, especially in terms of guest service outcomes.
