Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Legal Affairs to lead and oversee all legal functions of the organization. The role involves providing high-level legal counsel, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing legal risk, and supporting executive leadership on corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Legal Affairs department, setting strategy and priorities
• Provide legal advice to senior management and the Board on corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters
• Oversee drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, agreements, and policies
• Ensure compliance with UAE laws, regulations, and governance requirements
• Manage litigation, disputes, and external legal counsel
  
  Advise on mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and corporate restructuring
• Develop and implement legal risk management frameworks
• Monitor changes in legislation and assess their impact on the organization
• Support internal stakeholders with legal guidance across business operations

Qualifications & Experience

• Masters degree or relevant certification preferred
• Licensed lawyer or eligible to practice law
• Minimum 12–15 years of legal experience, with senior leadership experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of UAE laws and regulations
• Experience in corporate, commercial, and regulatory law
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
• Ability to work with senior executives and external stakeholders
