Our client provides best-in-class project services to the international energy industry with focus on renewable and oil & gas projects.

This company is seeking to appoint a new Commercial Lawyer to their operation.

The role will provide expert legal guidance on a wide spectrum of complex matters, particularly EPCI (Engineering, Procurement, Construction & Installation), Oil & Gas, construction, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, compliance, and governance.

The role will support the business through proactive legal counsel, contract negotiation, dispute resolution, and managing regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

The role holder will be responsible for day to day operational matters across the region in conjunction with the senior team, enjoying a broad remit and the opportunity to get involved with the areas detailed above.

Profile required:

• Common law qualified lawyer with a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience (PQE), preferably from an international law firm or multinational in-house legal team.
• Experience in construction / energy / offshore sectors.
• Commercial Contract Expertise:
  Proven ability to draft, negotiate, and manage complex contracts, including EPCI, M&A, JV’s, and other commercial agreements.
• In-depth knowledge of local and international legal frameworks, particularly the UK, UAE, Saudi Arabia, and GCC jurisdictions.
• Strong business relationship building and interpersonal skills.
• The role will suit a strong, commercially astute lawyer used to operating within a multinational corporate environment.
