Deliveroo HOPDeliveroo HOP launched in September 2021 and is Deliveroo’s speedy grocery delivery service. Our mission is to deliver groceries to customers around the world in as little as 10 minutes - from the weekly shop to a last‑minute dinner party or a late‑night snack. Working with trusted grocers, Deliveroo Hop promises to bring customers the very best products at lightning speed.
The team behind Deliveroo HOP are building a network of stores across London, the UK and International markets. Each delivery store is staffed with a team who have been specially trained to manage the operations efficiently as well as pick and pack orders in record time, with Deliveroo’s 100,000‑strong rider network completing all deliveries.

The RoleThe role of the Site Team Leader is to support Site Management in achieving the highest performance possible within their respective site. This includes maximising customer satisfaction, optimising productivity, maintaining strong stock accuracy, tightly controlling inventory and minimising all wastage.
The Site Team Leader must also contribute to a positive and cooperative working environment for all colleagues ensuring at all times the tasks they are completing and delegating are done in a safe, legal and compliant manner. The Site Team Leader is responsible for running their shift most efficiently and effectively delivering operational excellence.
What You’ll be DoingLead through your respective team working closely with the site management to achieve all company objectives and goals. This will require an ability to effectively prioritise tasks and activities on shift whilst retaining the ability to get stuck in!
Supervise that all orders are picked efficiently and accurately meeting time targets. This includes overseeing the adherence to packaging SLAs and quality assurance of each order to maximise customer satisfaction.
Supervise compliance with company standard operating procedures (SOPs) through robust supervision and impactful coaching.
Communicate professionally and effectively with our Deliveroo riders.
Effectively operate and oversee the dispatch order ensuring the accurate handling of orders to riders and minimising mistakes.
Ensure all deliveries are handled in line with company expectations and policies driving adherence to temperature regulations whilst ensuring stock is replenished in an efficient and organised way. Maintain inventory accuracy and stock rotation accordingly. Complete the claims process daily where appropriate.
Complete stock counts as per company policy with a keen eye for inventory management.
Work collaboratively with Site Management teams with the ability to communicate professionally and openly with other stakeholders.
Drive strong standards within your site, adhering to merchandising and space management principles in addition to delivering a clean, tidy, organised site environment.
