Planning Manager – Fit

We are currently recruiting for a Planning Manager – Fit-Out for our client to be based out of their Dubai Office.

The Planning Manager – Fit-Out is responsible for developing, monitoring, and controlling project programs for interior fit-out projects, ensuring timely delivery through accurate planning, progress tracking, delay analysis, and recovery strategies.

• Develop baseline and detailed project programs using Primavera P6 / MS Project.
• Prepare short-term look-ahead schedules and resource-loaded programs.
• Coordinate planning activities with construction, procurement, and design teams.
• Establish work breakdown structures (WBS) specific to fit-out works.
• Track actual progress against baseline schedules.
• Analyze schedule deviations and propose mitigation and recovery plans.
• Update project schedules on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Monitor critical path and key milestones.
• Coordinate procurement schedules for joinery, materials, FF&E, and bespoke items.
• Track long-lead items and highlight risks impacting project completion.
• Align procurement timelines with site installation sequences.
• Conduct delay analysis (EOT substantiation, impact analysis).
• Support commercial team with planning inputs for claims and variations.
• Maintain records for schedule-related correspondence and approvals.
• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly planning reports.
• Attend project meetings and provide planning status updates.
• Prepare dashboards, S-curves, manpower histograms, and cash flow forecasts.
• Establish planning standards, templates, and reporting formats.
• Train project teams on schedule updates and progress measurement.
• Support portfolio-level planning across multiple fit-out projects.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• +20 years of experience, with strong exposure to interior fit-out projects.
• Proven experience in fast-track commercial or hospitality projects.
• Strong UAE market and consultant-led project experience.
