About the opportunity
What’s On Your Plate? Inventory Governance & Control- Ensure accurate and timely recording of inventory transactions across warehouse management systems and financial systems.
- Own inventory reconciliation between General Ledger and Sub-Ledger, ensuring compliance with accounting policies and timely month‑end close.
- Monitor inventory accuracy across all owned warehouses, stores, and 3PL locations.
- Lead shrinkage, expiry, and damage analysis across warehouses and stores, identifying root causes and driving corrective actions.
- Review and challenge inventory adjustments and loss claims, particularly those originating from 3PL operations.
- Proactively identify inventory risks and elevate issues that may impact financial results or operational continuity.
- Govern inventory‑related SLAs with 3PL partners, including reconciliation accuracy, adjustment turnaround time, and shrinkage thresholds.
- Ensure standardized inventory SOPs and controls are applied consistently across owned and 3PL warehouses.
- Act as the main escalation point for inventory disputes involving Operations, Finance, and 3PL partners.
- Own end‑to‑end inventory system processes, including system enhancements, UAT sign‑off, pilot execution, full rollout, and post‑implementation reviews.
- Ensure master data integrity (UOM, costs, expiry parameters, FEFO logic) across systems.
- Support inventory‑related system issues and act as a functional help desk for internal stakeholders.
- Plan and oversee wall‑to‑wall stock takes and cycle count programs across warehouses and stores in line with approved schedules.
- Validate stock count results, ensure timely adjustments, and drive post‑count corrective actions.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Inventory Controllers, setting clear KPIs and accountability.
- Coordinate closely with Store Operations, Warehouse teams, Finance, Supply Chain, and Commercial stakeholders.
- Provide clear inventory performance reporting and insights to senior management.

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 5–7+ years of inventory control or supply chain experience, with multi‑warehouse operations exposure.
- Proven experience managing teams and working with 3PL partners.
- Strong understanding of inventory accounting, reconciliations, and audit requirements.
- Experience in retail, FMCG, e‑commerce, or quick‑commerce environments is highly preferred.
