Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Property Operations Manager to oversee the management and operation of our portfolio of commercial and residential properties. This pivotal role involves ensuring that all properties are optimally functional, safe, and compliant with regulations. The Property Operations Manager will be responsible for developing strategic plans to improve property efficiency and enhance tenant satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of building operations, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage a diverse team of maintenance staff and contractors.
We are looking for a proactive individual with a keen eye for detail who can handle complex situations and deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Develop and implement operational strategies for property maintenance and management practices.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of commercial and residential property portfolios.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations at all properties.
- Manage and oversee property maintenance staff and service contractors effectively.
- Coordinate and oversee regular property inspections and maintenance systems.
- Develop and manage budgets for property operation expenses and capital improvements.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers to ensure best value.
- Work closely with landlords and tenants to enhance satisfaction and resolve issues.
- Analyze property data and prepare detailed reports for stakeholders and management.
- Optimize utilities management to achieve energy-efficiency and cost-reduction goals.
- Lead risk management practices to protect property investments and stakeholders.
- Oversee and manage emergency response protocols for all managed properties.
- Bachelor's degree in Property Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of five years of experience in property operations management or similar role.
- Strong understanding of building management and maintenance practices and principles.
- Proven track record of managing budgets and optimizing operational expenses.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for managing teams and stakeholders.
- Proficient in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite applications.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and deliver results under pressure.
