Vice President Sales
The Vice President Sales is responsible for driving the strategic growth, market expansion, profitability and sustainable business development across the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific regions. The role will lead sales operations, strengthen market presence, optimize commercial performance and build high-performing teams while ensuring alignment with the company’s vision, values and long-term objectives. The position carries full responsibility for top-line growth, bottom-line performance, P&L management and execution of regional business strategies.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Market Leadership: Develop and execute region-wise sales, market expansion and restructuring strategies aligned with company growth objectives. Identify new business opportunities, untapped markets and scalable growth models across Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific. Lead market mapping and customer segmentation initiatives to maximize coverage, penetration and profitability. Analyze market trends, competitor activity, pricing movements, regulatory changes and customer demand patterns to support decision-making.
Navigate volatile markets impacted by currency fluctuations, political instability, trade restrictions and supply chain disruptions. - Sales Business Development: Drive achievement of sales revenue targets, market share growth and profitability across assigned territories. Manage and strengthen relationships with distributors, key accounts and strategic partners for long-term sustainable business. Lead contract negotiations, pricing strategy, credit terms and key commercial agreements. Expand product penetration through effective brand portfolio management and product positioning strategies. Bring new business opportunities by developing new channels, partnerships and customer networks.
- Team Leadership – Capability Building: Lead, mentor and develop regional sales teams to achieve high performance and accountability. Build a strong sales culture focused on execution, ownership and customer-centricity. Set clear KPIs, monitor performance and implement succession planning for key roles. Act as a senior escalation point for major customer, market or operational issues.
- Financial & Commercial Management: Take ownership of full P&L performance across the region, ensuring strong top-line and bottom-line delivery. Manage credit risk, receivables performance, pricing models and margin optimisation. Conduct contribution analysis by product, region and customer segment to improve profitability. Collaborate with Finance and Supply Chain to optimise costs, inventory planning and commercial returns.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, Operations and Product teams to ensure seamless execution. Align regional business plans with company vision, strategic priorities and organization values. Foster teamwork and collaboration across departments to support long-term business success.
- Experience & Background: Minimum 15+ years of experience in the tire industry, with 5-7 years in a similar senior leadership role. Proven track record managing Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific markets. Strong experience in restructuring, scaling or turnaround of regional markets. Demonstrated success in achieving revenue growth, profitability targets and market expansion. Experience handling distributors, key accounts, multi-country business operations.
