PMV Manager; Plant, Machinery & Vehicles

Overview

As the PMV Manager you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of Plant Machinery and Vehicles across multiple construction sites. You will ensure maximum utilization, cost efficiency, compliance, and reliability of all equipment assets.

• Lead and manage the PMV department across all projects
• Oversee fleet operations including heavy equipment, machinery, and transport vehicles
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs
• Monitor equipment utilization and optimize allocation across sites
• Control PMV budgets, including procurement, leasing, and operational costs
• Manage equipment procurement, vendor negotiations, and service contracts
• Ensure compliance with UAE safety regulations and company HSE standards
• Implement asset tracking systems and digital fleet management solutions
• Lead, mentor, and develop PMV teams, including operators, mechanics, and supervisors
• Coordinate with project and construction teams to meet operational requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 10–15 years of experience in construction/contracting companies
• Proven experience managing large fleets of construction equipment in the UAE/GCC
• Strong knowledge of heavy machinery (cranes, excavators, loaders, etc.)
• Experience in cost control, budgeting, and lifecycle management of assets
• Familiarity with ERP systems and fleet management software
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
• UAE driving license is preferred
