What you’ll deliver- Manage smooth and efficient functioning of all inventory operations at DXB/DWC Airports and lead a team of Storekeepers and Associate Storekeepers to execute Warehouse Management processes, ensuring efficient and effective warehouse operations.
- Ensure governance over warehouse operations in line with relevant legal framework and regulatory compliance, adhering to HSE requirements.
- Provide strategic direction and instructions for the responsible Airport (DXB or DWC) Warehouse to fulfilment teams to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Manage resource (manpower) plan and oversee shift patterns managed by direct reports, including hours booking and staff holidays management.
- Continuously seek to improve business processes and support, where required, successful execution of the DA Corporate Services Enablement Programme.
- Hold a degree in Business, Engineering, Finance or related field.
- Have at least 8 years of experience in warehouse environment, with minimum 3 years’ experience in managing warehouses.
- Have previous experience in ERP Systems (preferably Oracle), MRP System, WIMS (warehouse information management systems) and advanced Excel.
- Have knowledge in inventory models, forecasting methods, and inventory control procedures, and thorough knowledge of inventory/accounting relationships.
