Job Description

The primary responsibility of this role is to oversee the product assortment structure, both in terms of quality and quantity, as well as the selection of purchase sources, domestically and internationally. Additionally, managing the pricing structure and merchandise plan is crucial to ensure they align with customer needs and the company’s commercial concept. The ultimate goal is to facilitate sustainable growth in business volume, expand the customer base, and enhance profitability.

• Define the product assortment structure, considering qualitative and quantitative factors in line with customer needs and the company’s commercial vision.
• Implement strategies to reduce operational costs effectively and continuously.
• Conduct thorough analysis and benchmarking of the company’s performance against competitors and international market standards, providing actionable recommendations for improvement.
• Stay abreast of new market opportunities and shifts, fostering knowledge sharing among all stakeholders within the organization.
• Contribute to developing store merchandise plans and introducing innovative merchandise concepts and Plano grams.
• Ensure the effective execution of merchandise plans, aligning them with national strategies.
• Optimize working capital management, guide stores on margin parameters, and ensure timely collection of accounts receivable.
• Establish robust control mechanisms to ensure budget adherence and take corrective actions when necessary.

• Bachelor’s Degree in a business or management-related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in managing retail operations and merchandise, with a focus on light household products.
• Proficiency in English language (full professional proficiency required).
• Exceptional negotiation skills with previous experience in contract negotiation.
• Prior experience with retail online operations and e-commerce.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
