Nadia's client is a global logistics shipping company that operates more than 500 distribution centers and offices in 40 countries. We require a Managing Director with 10+ years of senior managerial experience in the logistics industry.

• Accountable for the overall OPCO direction, strategies, business performance, and people management.
• Responsible for developing and managing local business activities, expanding local markets and customers, and achieving short and long‑term financial and operating objectives as set by the overall corporate business plan.
• Responsible for developing and expanding the global end‑to‑end business, combining local business and port‑to‑port traffic, and contributing to the company Group network.
• Embed the company Group corporate culture, including the 3C s Behavior Model and Kaizen Mindset, into the organization and comply strictly with both global and local laws and regulations.
• Ensure appropriate organization leadership and people management, install the company Group’s mission, vision and values into employees’ mindset and behavior, and translate company business strategy into Opco policies and mid‑term management plans.
• Support and contribute to global business expansion by engaging with strategically important customers and network business opportunities.
• Formulate and implement practical action plans to achieve company objectives in customer development, market expansion, profit and loss management, service quality, efficiency improvement, resource management and legal compliance.
• Supervise internal control systems and compliance structures at the country area in charge.
• Ensure a safe and healthy work environment across all locations by adhering to local regulations and Group guidelines.
• Manage talent, ensuring appropriate selection and succession planning for key positions, promoting employee engagement, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
• Coach and direct people to achieve organizational and individual objectives, encourage and motivate employees, and build diverse and inclusive teams and company culture.

• University degree, preferably in logistics, engineering or business administration.
• 10+ years of senior managerial experience in the logistics industry with exposure to general management, managing operations and budget processes or comparable position.
• Excellent knowledge of the logistics industry (freight forwarding, contract logistics, land transportation, etc.).
• Demonstrated excellence in a top‑level operational position or related role in an international logistics organization.
• Experience working within a multinational organization and/or experience from a logistics company active across different transportation sectors.
• Deep understanding of supply chain management, sales and business development, finance management, process engineering, freight forwarding, quality and Kaizen activities.
• Teamwork, collaboration, adaptability, initiative with an understanding of group strategy and experience working in a complex international matrix organization.
• Strong organizational skills, ability to lead, plan and manage change, and conceptual thinking and execution.
• Capability to work with customers, outstanding communication (verbal and written) and negotiation skills.
